I just finished up a lot of maintenance that I've been putting off. Replaced my leaky oil pan gasket, and I went ahead and replaced the oil pump screen while I had the pan off. I ran a bottle of engine flush right before I dropped the pan, and it loosened up a LOT of crud. So much crud that I definitely wanted to replaced that pickup tube and screen, lol. Then I spent quite a few hours cleaning the oil pan out. I also replaced the universal joints and the rear diff fluid and gasket too. No more leaky diff gasket, and no more clicking U-joints.
And now today I went ahead and bought a new Duracell AGM Battery from Sam's club, because my existing battery was getting weak, AND it was almost 6 years old.

Yeah, my back is still killing me. I covered the driveway under my truck with cardboard so I could slide in and out from under the truck easier. I guess it's like a poor man's creeper. LOL.
I am a bit worried about the oil pan gasket though. I keep checking it to make sure it isn't leaking, but I am seeing a small amount of oil along the transmission bell housing. It looks like old darker oil though, I know that all the oil in the pan is VERY clean as it's all fresh Amsoil and the pan was completely clean when I reinstalled it. I hope it's just some old oil that is running down from the back of the engine and not the new gasket leaking already.

Totally worth it. Do they program your mileage? and also, how do you make the trans temp gauge work>?

Yes they do. They ask how many miles you have, and program it. Then there is a mileage affidavit that you have to fill out as well. I just added a couple hundred miles to be currently had to allow for shipping time. Worked out very well! As far as the trans temp goes, it just worked... I have done nothing other than take the whole cluster out but this one In.

I got all my t10 leds in. Much better. Need festoons though. What is everybody running?

I need bright puddle lights, map lights, second row, third row and trunk still. I prefer ~5000k "pure white"
