Got a USB/aux input, finally installed it in that little button/pocket area. The radio only came with a USB wire, but I like having the aux, too. Decided this was a good place to put it and drilled it out with a hole saw.

I kind of like that lower valance. I've never heard of the regency edition. Is that valance part of that package?

I'm not sure. I'm still researching that. The valance is fiberglass. Maybe the reason I don't like it is the blue lights.

Got a little more work done. The people who stole the truck took the speaker guards and left two of four Kicker components. Wtf? I had to pull the door panels to fix that. Since I had the panels pulled I installed some painted door handles on one side. Also I took of the Regency faded logo and pen stripe.

I pick up fender flares hopefully tomorrow. I'm having the bumper cap and flares color matched. Also having the mirrors repainted.

Sorry for the crappy pics... I will get some better ones when I give it a good bath.

You might see what remains of the step. The truck only had one. Then it wouldn't fit on the trailer cause it hit the step. So I am in the field I'm trying to get these bolts to break free. I could only get two of three broke loose. I ended up ripping the step off where there was rust holes.

Here is my dilemma... the valance is chipped and needs painted. Do I want to repair and paint the valance or put on the factory one from the 06. I also have fog lights. Then sell the Regency valance and recoup some cash??

Hmm. I personally would keep the regency valance, helps make it look a little more unique. Plus if you're gonna sell it I'd still repair it, might give you more profit in the end

I might leave it for now and mess with later. By then it might grow on me. I will have most of the interior parts by Friday. So I have quite a few little things to take care of before that.

Installed an Aero Turbine 3.5" in/out muffler. This thing is LOUD. Actually louder than straight pipes. Perfect compliment to the headers.I love it.
Edit: I just added a short video of start-up and punch of the throttle for those interested.

What makes a truck a regency? Were there any interior upgrades as well?
The door panels have leather trim panels. The seats are different. The head rest are totally different. It also had a TV and antenna for local channels. All that was stripped when stolen. I'm going back with a factory console and no TV. Oh it also has what looks like house carpet.
