How does the bumper cover come off? I always thought it was 1 piece including the metal bumper underneath...someone hit the back of my Tahoe the other day and messed up the bumper pretty bad, I'm gonna try and swap it out with the Escalade bumper
Gotta love those hit and run drivers. Hopefully they messed their ride up more then they messed yours up! Scumbags!!

Got the Denali bumper finished and on. It has a couple imperfections, but for my first real full-on paint attempt, I'm quite pleased with how it came out. Now we see if it holds up...

Nice work on that bumper. Nobody but you will see any imperfections and the satisfaction doing it yourself is a winner. IMO, paint the spare tire lock door white as well to match the bumper. Sticks out a bit. I did that to mine. @HiHoeSilver

Yes higher rpm stall. I bet all the guys at pt.net were pushing for higher. Hah. If the cam guy suggests that then yeah makes sense.

I wouldn't go much higher for a street truck, just the way your going for it with the mods i sort of thought youd go for something gnarly. This is gonna be another big upgrade for you.
They all pretty much agreed 2800 triple disc.

I had the same thought. It's actually not in there as well as I'd like it to be anyway. I did make a new foam gasket for it, but in reusing the retaining ring for reinstall, it's just not very tight.

Installed these bad boys. Should be good for a while. 100k mile warranty??

You can see the original NGK didnt have much electrode left after 14 some-odd years

Just goes to show there are plenty people out there who just drive shit until the aftermarket 20" wheels fall off. The previous 1-owner of my Yukon did absolutely ZERO maintenance on this truck. All of the parts & fluids were still the original from assembly. good for the previous owner but sucks pretty bad for me. Was wondering why I couldn't dig up any maintenance records. She had the motor oil changed & that's all!

Thanks, Pete. I have an extra, but it has a lock in it that I don't have the key for...Mines in good shape, it's just that stupid press ring in the back doesn't want to get tight. I think I'm going to improve upon the design with a lock nut somehow... Not really worried about it being out for a few days, I live in suburban Churchland.

It's 3 bolts on either side and idk the tow hitch might bolt into it too there is an unused nut on the bottom on either side

The lock rings are one-time use; they need to be replaced once they're pried off.

There's the plastic cover and plastic step pads. All snap into place on a metal bumper. Metal bumper that is underneath is the exact shape as the stock Tahoe chrome bumper with the same exact bumper brackets that bolt onto the frame.
