Love the Denali handles. I just noticed your door panels aren't carpeted in the bottom area like mine. I had redone them with matching material when I replaced my carpet and just reglued them yesterday because I didn't use enough spray glue first time around.

I've never seen lower panels uncarpeted.

Never even thought of this... A Z71 thing, maybe? The sail panels are different colors from driver (dark charcoal) to passenger (gray), too.

why get a girdle when you have that hefty diff cover on?

That's the girdle. It has studs with pads on the ends that torque against the center of the bearing caps inside the differential to strengthen them. If you look at the bearing caps you'll see why they need this.

Replaced and relocated my aux backup LED pods. I used to have the slim 18w pod mounted directly underneath the bumper, but still visible. It worked, but I never loved having the pod visible all the time. Here's what I got now, used factory holes, an L-bracket and some stainless hardware.




Normal standing height:




Crouched down:




And on:




I think I'm going to like it a lot better, but I might need to drop them down an inch or two to the next hole in the L-bracket if I don't like the light pattern at night or if the bumper cuts off the beam too low.

Had a bunch of time off today, so I got some more stuff done. 3 coats of bedliner on my faded, rusted nerf bars. Maybe I can get a few more years out them before I have to replace.

Also re-plastidipped my Esky roof rack end caps and topped with Glossifier:




All put back together:



Now I just need to restore the plastic steps with the same stuff I used on the valence and tires. Renew/Protect Blak, Gloz, and Satn. Awesome stuff.

Just bought Timken hubs, a new socket to do the job, and new brake pads. My wallet hurts.
