Finished up my nerf bar restoration, cleaned all the bug guts off the front end and made myself an actual signature. Props to Pete aka Sevenevez for the inspiration.

Finally got around to installing the LCA bumpstops I bought in December of last year.
Took them to the grinder to maximize contact area with the factory bumstops.

Not perfectly centered, but pretty close.
Can't say I've noticed a huge difference, but it does seem like the front end is more "connected", for lack of a better term.
I completed the cabin filter mod today! Time wisely spent retrofitting a set of those filters to the HVAC; my AC doesn't smell like a hay barn anymore!!
I haven't come across any threads on it here so either you all did this already or this generation of owners is unaware of it. Hella benefits.
I got the oil changed too. I used the AC Delco Dexos full-syn, 5w-30 & Delco filter. Now, I was losing ZERO oil on whatever fill the previous owner had put in it. I assume the cheapest DINO oil because of the $2 Pennzoil filter that was under it. I really don't want any leaks or oil consumption to arise so I will be checking it on the reg & sharing my findings for those interested. Replacing the torsion bar crossmember bushings this weekend too: my tuck has recently developed a serious "CLUNK" sound that has become ever more persistent. If my luck holds, this will do the trick and I won't have to spend any time diagnosing the ball joints and body mounts. I found a set of the mount & bushing assembly for $30 on eBay. We pressed the new bushings out of the mounts so that I can swap the bushing only instead of transplanting the entire mount as a whole. Im going to attempt the old all-thread/washers/pipe as a makeshift press while hammering down with a 1/2-inch drive impact instead of socket/ratchet. May try to document.
You might need a set of shock extender brackets.
Is that the factory shocks in front, there? That is quite a bit of lift you got there. I put in some lift keys that completely leveled my truck out and I still have the bump stops touching the CA. I don't know how as they were up about 1-inch but I played with the adjustment bolts a few times and got them back in contact again without sacrificing any of the lift.
I have to replace the bushings up in that torsion bar cross-member tomorrow so we will see if that changes anything.
