:shake: I appreciate the tip, that was gonna be my next step. But, with a bigger hammer, we have progress!

Wrapped the front bumper with 3M matte metallic black vinyl and painted everything behind the grille. Kinda pulled too hard and tore it down by the fog light, but it was my first time. Now that I think about it I should have used heat. Maybe? I'll do it again next weekend.

I tried that trans flush deal, unhooking that top trans line from the radiator. Wasn't the Hoe, but it was a 4L80 so it kinda counts:D. I used the drain plug--which worked--took all the fluid out that was in the pan, then dropped the pan and changed the filter. Put new fluid in, started it, pumped fluid out from the upper line, put more new fluid in. After 2-3 times, it was good to go. Imo, this is the best way to do it.

I'll have to get me a set of those. I tried another brand last time and they just spun.
Edit: do you have a part # for those?

Well....... I confirmed that my alarm/remote start has finally crapped out. I checked all the wiring and it's all good, so the module must have gone bad. Or else the remote is no longer working. The other remote died a few years ago when my wife knocked it right into the dog's water bowl. And I couldn't replace it with a new one because the alarm is so old, it's been discontinued. Oh well, it's pretty old anyways and I guess it's reached it's lifespan. . I originally installed it in January of 2006, so I guess a 12 year lifespan is pretty good for an Autopage 2-way alarm with remote start.
I guess I will install a Viper this time around.

Let us know which one you go with. I still need to get one.
