I want to do this mod. My fogs even with overwattage nighthawks are not great.

Kept finding my coolant reservoir empty. Started noticing that there was more fluid under the truck after startup then I would expect from the a/c system. Finally came to the conclusion that the coolant reservoir cap must be bad even though it looked fine visually.

Replaced it and no more leaks.

I had almost the exact same problem, besides losing coolant, the system was pressurizing. Weird that it never over heated. I replaced my cap and it was all good.

Yeah same here. Never noticed it overheat, seemed to hold pressure. I think the pressure spike @ startup was causing it to blow past the seal or something.

Yea me too. Much cleaner oem look. Tired of the blue 6000k. Not that I hate it now, just time for a change

My Yukon (See avatar) had 6000k bulbs in it when I got it... couldn't hardly see with them at night. Looked really cool, but they're not very practical.

Picking this up tomorrow. Am becoming a gmc *****. Supposebly has a blown motor didn’t try to start i will swap the motor if needed.

I will see when i bring it home and determine is a blown motor. Was going to build the 2500 but might aswell build this if it’s blown like you said. @Rocket Man
