If you want cheap you can use some E6000 to hold them in place and then plastidip over it. Its hobby grade adhesive that's sold at Home Depot and other hardware stores. The stuff is solid when it dries and remains flexible but is not likely to come out.

My wheels have the model name on the back of them. Maybe you can find the original caps online..

Yes sir, every wheel has a model number or name stamped on the back.

@Tonyrodz .. pop them in, run a few beads of silicone around the tangs on the inside closer to wheel then plastidip over the otside and you should be good. Or try to fid a large enough snap ring. Like from an old school manual 4wd hub.. or the like72F13F30-5730-4023-A4A7-B8478AC64BA2.png

I'll give it a shot. Hopefully this weekend I'll have time--if it doesn't rain again.

How bout a small electric sander or die cast angle grinder with sanding pads. ?

Using both I have my angle grinder with an 60 and 80 grit pad then a palm sander with 120 and then primer but I have to hand sand the right areas which have the most corrosion

Decided recently I needed to start doing some cleanup on my Yukon XL. I'm not sure why, but there's so much inconsistency. For instance, 3 of the 4 doors have a rain guard, 1 of 2 mudflaps, 2 of 4 doors have edging, etc...

So...I removed the door edging from the 2 doors and cleaned up the remaining residue and removed the single mud flap. I'm leaving the rain guards until I get replacements. I also pulled one of the tail lights and gave it a good sanding/buffing as it looked like it had been clear coated and was flaking off (still need to do the other tail light). Removed the rear upper vent appliques, gave them a good scrubbing and buffed them out as they were looking pretty faded.

Just working through little things here and there to help it present better.

Like hulk66049, I need to get my Tahoe more presentable.

I did a quick wash and spray wax tonight as it sat under a tree at my parents house for over a month. It still needs a proper detail, but I'm always busy and don't have time to maintain any of my cars. One day this summer I'll have a free weekend to catch up...

Fiddled around with the hood latch trying to pull the center of the hood down to eliminate the gap between the hood and grille... didn't have much luck. In the process though, I noticed the headlights were pointed at the freakin' SKY!

Aimed them down to where they were flush with the grille on both axis and brought my e-torx socket with me to work so I could correctly aim them on my break.

Mush mo betta!
