Yup.

I do, but I'm stuck on the turnpike, and AAA doesn't come on here. So 2 tows. FML!!!!

that sucks. i had a similar issue with a oil cooler line on my 03. i snapped the shaft on the p/s pump while snow plowing, now i got no brakes, no steering and no working fan, un hook the plow in that lot and drove it home, it was freezing out. fixed that on new years eve, freezing out too and snowing. get it all back together go plowing, next day the belt shreds, i failed to press the pulley all the way back on right. fixed that, new belt, then another day later im under the hood checking things over and theres oil all over the place. what i failed to notice was the belt knocked the oil line out its clip on the oil pan and it was rubbing the balancer and cut it through. buy new line installed it. pita too.

few days later im out doing clean up work. lines holding up fine, then as im blocks form home i got a large hill to get up, as i get to the top i notice i got no oil pressure, shut it down and stop at the top of the hill. look back and i just left a james bond oil slick up the hill. oil every where. so i fire it up, goose the gas kill it and coast down the hill, make a right turn and im 3 blocks from home, needed to fire it up and goose it once more a block from home, parked it on the wrong side of the road in front of my house. went to bed.

line blew off the filter housing. next day im under the truck taking a oil bath as its still dripping off the under side.

this is when i found out with a oil cooler its 9 qts to fill a 6.0 from dead empty. dumped in 5 qts, fire it up, shut off, check the stick, not a drop on it lol wtf wheres it going??????

Same luck I have. I noticed just before the line blew that my oil pressure is reading 80 psi. That's new.

So, that was fun.

Working on drivers side right now. Didn't find any play but can hear some squeaking when I twist it left and right.

Besides checking the cv axle boots does anyone no what kind of play is not acceptable in the axles?

If it was me, you're in there, might as well change them out.

Oh damn that sucks just get an AC Delco line and make sure it’s routed correctly and you should be all set, should be a stock item at your local GM dealer

The Dorman I bought was pretty good. The guy didn't route it correctly. I'll call tomorrow tho, just to price it out.
