I won't post either but I'll read like you said. These were some of the nicer looking lights I could find. So we will see. I'm gonna pull the light that's in the projector out and put the hid in there and see how I want to wire the halos and led lights in. The looked pretty good at night with a stock light. If the hid really brightens it up like its supposed to its gonna be well worth buying the new set.

I installed HID's into my Spyder projectors I bought for The Beast. they actually work pretty good; not nearly as good as the retrofits I did for my CC but they have good cutoffs and work good enough. Also wired the led's and halos into the park lights but later disconnected the halos after I decided I didn't really like them. Then I missed them so I reconnected them again lol.

Met up with @Cyclemoe yesterday, great guy and we got some plans for both trucks!

Too bad mine may need a trans afterall.

The local builder I know has an HD tow package rebuild,

TransGo Shift kit
Hardened HD Sunshell
Rebuilt Torque Convertor
Oversized valves in pump/valvebody
Red Eagle wide 2-4 band
New reverse input drum
8- Borg Warner High Energy 3-4 frictions
7 Koleen steels
Sonnax boost valve and accumulator pistons

$850 before core, $100 core

I am not going to cam or turbo it, maybe headers and exhaust, e-fans, and reevaluate the tune...what y'all think?

I got a replacement puddle light in today. Thanks @Tonyrodz!

Also got my knew projectors in and installed. Now I have a couple questions for all you guys. 1) It came with a set of 50 watt 6k hids for the low beam. And the high beam on it is a 9005. I had 9005 hids in the low beam in the last lights. Will hids work in the high beams? Like for flashing the lights?
2) it has 2 LEDs beside the lights what should I wires those into? Also it has halos what should I wires those into?

Thank you for all you guys help!

I'd throw those projectors in the trash and retrofit with a real HID projector.

I'm not too sure about this one, but I have used the Amsoil Severe Gear and had good results, it ran me about $12 a quart with my Amsoil Preferred Customer membership discount ($20 a year). That membership pays for itself when I order a single case of 12 quarts of oil, as I save well over $20 off the retail price. Back to the "Severe Gear", I only had it in my rear diff for a few months though, I noticed my rear differential gasket leaking badly one day so I had to source a new gasket and oil locally. I ended up getting the Mobil 1 gear oil from Advance Auto parts for around $11 or $12 a quart, and that's what's still in it now.

I never post there. Just look at the completed projects and ignore the trolls. A lot of people do great work there
Yea I can't control myself lol, the ignorance on that page is so high I have to troll back. But the best builds and builders in the world are on that page. But its was scrolling through 1000 posts of garbage and trash talking just to see 1 post of a great build.

I’m quite curious to see where you’re going with these!!
I have a few ideas but they all have a flaw or two so I'm still brainstorming. Had other ideas till I took off the led part to see what was behind it and that changed things lol.
