I like what you have done with your lights. Have you made a list of the light mods and a detailed "How to" so someone can do the same thing without screwing it up.

No I haven't done a detailed write-up on on them, but I have some info posted in my build thread linked below.

What did I do today? I finished the 4-bulb turn signal mod on my XL:




Added bonus, using a diode to prevent the DRLs from backfeeding all the parking lights, the DRLs activate the front parking lights.

Now I just need to get those new headlights with the wrap-around DRL tube that I like.

Finally finished up my Katzkin install. A couple issues with the rear seats not having the right clips but I was able to repurpose double sided clips from the original seats and everything is locked down. It's like a new truck inside. I didn't put a steamer on it since our 100 Deg weather will take out the few wrinkles left.

Today I masked off the wood grain on my Escalade bezel and sanded it then painted all they grey black. Looks a whole lot better! I also installed the sound deadened on the inside skin of the driver door. Followed by the driver side front door panel after I finished the suede insert. It came out really good.
You won’t catch me calling anything I do to one of my vehicles a “MOD” if you do, you should stop​

Scored a NOS Denali center console armrest off EBay, I’ve honestly never been a fan of the Escalade lid this will look a lot better and that dent in the pic is nothing something was leaning against it on a shelf

The kits were like $800-1k for a group buy years ago. This is the deluxe 2tone kit with double stitching. It's full grain leather, no vinyl.. I got them from a member here for a song and a dance lol, but I think they may be one off kits now since u can't even see them on katzkins site anymore so the price may be higher.

Steve Meade did an install video of his a long time ago. I like my design better, but its the same kit for the most part. The Seat Shop quoted me $125 to install just the drivers seat bottom so needless to say I saved a lot doing it myself.

Yup the Escalade/Denali center console is the same some slight differences between the two, the lid bolts right on

Nice. What does yours look like again and is the Denali one leather? In the pics it looks like vinyl.

EDIT: I see it's nos. So it should be leather.

This is the Escalade one it has the same pattern as the seats, just was never a fan of it, the seats it looks fine but the lid just doesn’t really go to well imo
