A wrap is a good option but of course any bodywork needed to be done first. Even the tiniest dings show through. For the 8500 how extensive was it supposed to be- door jambs, engine compartment, etc.? Mine had everything done and the only way to tell is to pull the carpet or headliner. The front end had been completely disassembled, bumpers removed, etc etc. Engine compartment and underside of hood is repainted, Ive pulled pretty much everything apart and it’s all been repainted except the interior more than about 6” from the edges of the doors.

Yeah the wrap shops I’ve talked to also got me quotes for all the bodywork from body shops they work with. Both paint shop quotes included under hood, door jams, and several inches into the engine bay. I didn’t like the folks at the shop who quoted me 8500 though. I’d go with the 6500 guy first (not because of the price, he just seemed more interested in taking on this project).

Damn shame. Those are the rims I want, but 22's. Which hood is that? NNBS? Not a reg HD hood, the inserts. Looked pretty cool.
Yeah I've had my eye on them for a while..ck375..I think 22 would be nice, but I like those 24s too lol. That's what made me watch the video. It looks like it may be a 2011-14 Silverado 2500 hood thats been cut..its heartbreaking see a nice truck like that get totaled..

I agree. It was a nice Hoe. I don't think GM makes those in 24's. Not positive, but I think those only come in 22's--from GM. Have a link to the vid? I'd like to see if he has more pertaining to the Hoe.

Yeah factory size is 22. You can get repos in 24 from Tony/NorcallSS and a couple of other places. The picture is a video link. The guy is parting the toe and converting his V6 truck to V8 so some parts will live on..the sick part..he got the whole truck for like $1600..

Finally replaced the dry rotted falling apart Michelins that were on my Yukon. Stock size BFG rugged terrains, might go bigger next time. So far (just driving around today) I like them. not too loud on the highway at all, not as quiet at the Michelins but I couldnt afford the same replacment, and they look great. Now we will see how they hold up.

Just because he said he bought it for $1600 doesn’t necessarily mean that’s true. It’s the internet, people can say whatever they want.

Well after living in fear of the tahoe getting broken into, vandalized, but more likely stolen because this state turn into the highest crime filled state in the country per capita, I finally got an alarm....a nice expensive alarm with GPS. Also had the shop add a remote start while it was under the knife.
