Actually not a bad find. I'm curious about the 'breather', though. Our trucks want a sealed PCV style can. I don't see anything I would call a breather in the pics or descriptions of that one Not sure why it's in the name.

@swathdiver

I don't either. I come from a time before these were invented or in fashion, never heard of them until this forum. My own preference since I started driving and tinkering has been to either leave it alone or vent to atmosphere.

Out of curiosity, what would that little cubby be used for? Looks too small to put anything in it (that's what she said :D), is it just to fill the space where the rear controls would be and really serves no purpose?

that's correct some vehicles came without that option and used as an option to delete the rear controls

Sitting in a shop waiting on new u-joints, pinion bearing, carrier bearings, bearing races, spider gears, axle bearings and seals. Getting a smoking deal, so hopefully it fixes all my issues. I'll update my slip-yoke clunk thread later after it is done and I've driven it.

I got the cubby to replace what imo is an outdated useless rear entertainment system. Better to have a useless cubby than a useless radio that lights up with buttons and people keep asking what that is and does and you reply with "it dont work" lol
