What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

I’m confused; a ways back you said you installed the projectors upside down, then you said the high beams activate downward, then the pic I thought was low beam was actually high beam...never mind,carry on...I have no idea what you have going on lol.

INITIALLY, the high beams were pointed down, solenoids on the top of the setup

we had to cut the brackets and make it so they were in the correct position

Looks good You're getting there! I went back to my shop today to work on adjusting my lights. When you go back at it to rotate your drivers side make sure you adjust your bulbs hot spot first then do the rotation. Last night mine looked to be out of rotation kinda bad. Today I loosened my bulb holders and moved the bulb around to get that bright circle or hot spot right at the cutoff and 1/3 below. After I got the hot spot close my rotation didnt seem as bad. Needless to say I'vd had enough of headlights for now I'm not blinding anyone so I'm taking a break lol.
Pm me if you have questions about alignment or adjusting the hot spot and shimming your bulbs.

I was thinking the same thing. The shield for the high beam should drop down...

However the solenoid wiring should be on the bottom. I'm so confused by his set up.

Also initial pics looked like they were high beams and upside down. But the latest picture looked correct.

Finally gave her a good bath. Tried shine armor for the first time I was impressed. But I think she is looking good

Ok now I understand. I took it that they were still upside down which obviously wouldn’t work well. Glad you figured it out.

Spindles came in. Need to free up a lift to install this weekend. Also got these. Pnp led license plate lights off eBay for 13 bucks. X20 brighter than the 194 led bulb.

Thanks man I payed 7500 for it 3 close to 4 years ago and it had 156000 on it then. I like it minus a couple repairs I need to have done. Rear main seal, and the parking brake broke, now the rear passenger brakes are squealing.

Funny thing in this picture I thought I was using Meguirs tire gel and thought man these tires are looking pretty good. I get around to the last tire and was using Meguirs back to black trim restorer. Hilarious I was using another brand trim restorer on mine and switching to the Meguirs for the tires. I guess I had two trim restorers in my truck and no tire gel.

Got a paint marker thanks to @05Single and gave it a shot. I may have to remove the vortec paint and try again the engine might have been too warm. But I like how it pops like new

Did my shifter install.
It's a T30 torx. I recommend using your old rubber boot. The nnbs has stiff plastic under the rubber and it doesn't conform to the cut out in your cover.

Stripped the chrome off my spare headlight.
Used Yellow Easy Off. What a mess. Ended up wet sanding with 600 grit using the easy off as a lubricant. Worked well but messy.

Good thing it's a spare cus I ****** the taping up for the high beam reflector lol

Why are you stripping it, in order to paint it? I’ve just seen guys doing a light scuff at the most, then using adhesion promoter.
