Got the new LED tail lights in. Had to chase down new screws as the stock screws wouldn't grab.
That involved dropping a can full of various screws and bolts down the basement steps. Looked like a frag grenade going off! Jasmine, my cat, was not amused and nearly tore the carpet off the steps in her hasty retreat!
Fastest I've seen her move in a long time! :happy175:

Thank Goodness for pre-emptive reading!
Saw a thread today that some LED tail lights would break the cruise control.
Just did a test drive and sure enough I need that fix. Now to find that thread again.
Knew I should have written down that flasher replacement number but I suffer from CRS at times.

Ahh! Found it! "Novita LM487 Flasher". Over $50 bucks ?????

I think the 6 ohm 50 watt resistors placed inline would be way cheaper!

I got the flasher module, but you can use resistors as well, for each bulb.

I’ve been noticing the oil pressure in the 05 Tahoe I bought a couple months ago has been slowly dropping to around 20 at idle, going up to 40 when revved up. It still had 55% oil life left. Then today I noticed a tick at start up. Then it went away but when I got back from grocery shopping it was back. At 260 k I was thinking bad thoughts like a knocking rod. It didn’t sound like lifters, too slow of a knock. So I figured try an oil change and AC Delco filter and while the oil was draining I tightened a few loose exhaust manifold bolts. Knock is gone and pressure is back to 40 at idle.

Got the tune done today. The guy who tuned it said plenty left on table if I want it. Lol. My Yukon had flex fuel and I didn’t know it. Which is good because they have bigger injectors. Hopefully this posts correctly

So I had a straight through thrush muffler it was rediculously loud. So I bought this flowmaster 50 and had it welded on in is place. Funny story as the guy is taking off the old muffler he says I see why it might have been so loud in the cabin. The person who issued it put it on backwards. The V's were having towards the cabin. Is nice and quiet in the cabin now though so I am happy. And my twins can hear me without shouting. Lol0576f9e2b48885071d8539dff455f811.jpg

2004 Z71 Suburban Green I have a few upgrades done.

I have this same FM50 muffler on my 06.
