I thought I read there was a way to reset them.Mine does that so I just keep the rear turned off.

There are a couple reset procedures. And those also fail in cases where the door is broken. Lol.Not if they’re broken...my rear have resisted any reset procedure so Im pretty sure it’s broke.

All these fancy brushes and cleaners and sometimes a good ol fashion hand scrub with dish soap does the trick
