Sam, I'll keep my eyes open for those around Denver. The closest UPull to me is Littleton, down on Santa Fe, but I occasionally get to Denver and Aurora. How easy are those to remove without breaking?

And will the part from any NBS fit? Tahoe, Yukon, maybe Suburban?

Thanks Fless! Much appreciated! I’m not sure how easy they’ll be to remove, since the sunroof has to be open, to get at them! Seem to be held in with a small pin. So as long as you have access, I believe they should be fairly easy to remove. I’m really surprised these aren’t available to order.. I figured a plastic part like this should have a lot of spares on hand. I believe all GMT800 with the sunroof would be compatible.

Changed out my front Wiper fluid motor. While the truck was up (had to lift the truck to get access to the motor) I took the time to grease the tierods and ball joints and found this....

Looks like I need to get a new axle and possible another control arm.

Does moog have a warranty? Or does it matter if I have ac delco on one side and moog on the other?

Nice center.... I do prefer the full center padded lid, rather than the uncomfortable "tray" my Yukon has. I wonder if it can be swapped out, on my '05?

Cutting done. Yes, it walked on me in that one spot.

Cleaned it out as best I could up there with a toothbrush and vacuum. No leaves or anything, but a bit of nasty buildup in the fins that wouldn't have been there with a filter.

Filter installed. Fit is good. This is the Dorman carbon filter.

And yes, I got that third screw back in the kickplate. I used the old masking tape in the socket trick and then sacrificed my hand and wrist to get it started which took about 14,000 tries. Then I got a little ratchet into it and finished it off.

Airflow seems just as good as before and with AC season rolling in one of these days, I'm glad to know there's a filter in there.

I have to finally add the cabin AF this weekend. I've literally had the filter in my garage since before I moved into my new house 3 years ago, along with parts to make a "rigged" door. Just recently bought a legit door kit. My question is this:

Since there is no groove as you pointed out, how did you cut so evenly? did you measure / tape?

Any ideas here would be great, as my hands are not at all steady enough for this, and I'll make that 1 runaway you had look like a professional job. Please let me know how you did it!
