View attachment 239978 View attachment 239979 View attachment 239980 One thing I did just to dip my feet into modding; I swapped out the stock drl lights for leds. Haven’t decided what I’m going to do long term to upgrade the headlights, but this was just something easy to update the look during daytime driving.

From my experience I had a massive visibility increase when I upgraded to the Depo projector headlights with 55 watt HID's. It increased exponentially in output. Well worth the money for the upgrade.

Driver side before the cat. A plugged cat can make it set a code. Best way to check is swap from side to side and see if the code follows the sensor. If you do get catless headers you will have to tune out the downstream sensors to avoid codes being thrown.

Cool thanks man.

Any idea what the most cost effective long tube headers would be I know you're a fan of yours but they are a pretty penny. Just not sure if there are any to stay away from

I just know Speed Engineering are hit or miss, and if you have 4WD they’re likely a miss. Just ask @Tonyrodz . I’m not sure of any others, other members will chime in.

Careful with 55w kit, it will burn the bowl overtime. 35w is best and not much difference between the two

What do you consider long term? I've had them in my headlights for just about a year now with no issues.

Might be a stupid question but is the AWD Denali driveline laid out the same as a tahoe 4wd? Maybe that could be the reason for lousy fitment?

It’s pretty much exactly the same. The transfer cases are mounted in the same place and the drive lines are in the same place too. The difference is mainly the transfer case is a different design internally. It’s just the fact they have to make them fit around more stuff with less room to spare.
