After solving the water-in-oil problem(?), I decided to dump an entire can of Seafoam into the crankcase to help in flushing any fouled oil from the system. I am especially worried about the pushrods being plugged. Think I'll drive it for 25 miles+/- then do another oil change.
Anyone see any problems in doing this?
I don't like the idea of dumping an entire can in the crankcase. Too risky, IMO.
If it's already in there, just let it idle for a few minutes (Maybe 5-10?) then drain it. For a mild flush-while-you-drive, supposedly ATF is a good one. Add one quart and run it for a few hundred miles.
