Also if your front lip is lower than the doors then you need something to even it out. That's precisely why I haven't added a lip.
My front is way lower, but I never minded the look personally . But wish we had a body kit available. Plus my lip and valance is black so it’s less noticeable

Denali is the only exception. Otherwise toss the running boards imo. My frame was disgusting when I took mine off. So I wire brushed and cleaned up my frame then sprayed undercoating and it still looks good to this day.
looking at yours to make the decision to remove them. Only reason I have left them on is they are really good front mud guards.

I don’t like seeing the frame and rear lower control arms. It looks wrong to me. It’s an SUV not a pickup.
