Yep 80 grit followed by 120, 240, 400 then self etching primer paint and clear lmao.

for that maybe hit it first with some brasso then like turtle wax chrome polish afterwards

Don't think its heat I think the previous tune was just that rich. Plus long tubes no cats and dual 3" doesn't help
