Pretty sure the Z71 is about an inch taller. I imagine there’s a “standard” as well but don’t know. I decided I like the functionality of the Nivomats so probably going to stick with those, and do the 5100’s up front.
I used the MOOG Z71 springs and 5100s on my 01 and they lifted it about an inch after settling. I’m looking for more performance/stability than comfort. If I’m not mistaken there were 3 different spring rates available.

Just curious Mark--but could you have just replaced that broken tube with a jy tube?
I am thinking I’ll fix this and keep it as a spare. I can order a new tube for $70 and the bearings and seals are about $125 for both sides. But I wanted a rebuilt diff so that’s what I went with and if I manage to break it I’ll have something to swap in. I have been thinking I need a spare front and rear diff and transfer case, because supercharger. They all have 170k on them. The trans should be good now, fingers crossed.

I did the conversion on my ’01 with ZW7/G65. The spring on the left is the Moog Z71 spring #81069. The spring in the center is the standard Moog spring #81071. The spring on the right is the factory ZW7/G65 spring. I ended up going with the standard spring on my leveled ’01.

Cool. Believe me, I wasn't criticizing. I was just wondering if the crashbar behind the front fascia was damaged. Did you also do the side lower mouldings? Have a side view?
