What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

OK, I fired up the Tech2Win and it tells me that my speedometer doesn't require a recalibration. But when I do a sweep test it doesn't go to 50, only around 45. I'm thinking I should just reposition the needle.
What do you all think?

Good question. I know in an NBS truck, the gauges all zero out with key on, engine off.

If it doesn't, take the cluster apart to expose the needles and bring the speedo needle all the way to the right by hand, then back to the left to 0. I think that should work--or so I've been told. That's what I did with my Esky cluster.

Yes, the needle stops at the peg ( past zero ).

as far as I know Tahoe’s never had this style.

My 2000 has it the key number is 008 so more than one key.

For me, yes. Was never a problem--as far as I know. I'll double check it with the gps whenever I get the damn thing back.

Don't forget, I have a 2001 with air core steppers whereas I believe yours (2003) has the "new" type steppers. Spinning the needle won't do much in my case.
I do appreciate the suggestion though.

The Amazon link says fits 1999-2002 but does match for your 2005. Just goes to show what a little cross referencing will do for you.

I didn't even notice that, but I already know these fit 00-06
