Anyone have a favorite style or brand of tow mirror? I had to back my trailer about 250 yards down an alley with cars parked on each side. I felt like Stevie Wonder with the factory mirrors. My current mirrors are power adjust but no lights or defroster and I don't really want to add any complicated wiring.

I have driven a friends 04 duramax a fair amount with this style

Signal, defrost, and power adjust are all plug and play functions. They just connect to the DDM (this is true even if signal or defrost was not a factory option. Just plug it in and it works)

I had no idea they are plug and play! That's awesome I wanted to be fancy without doing all the work required lol.

Right there with ya. I was getting ready to pull the trigger on a set of emergency lights and Bilstein 5100's... then our front load LG washer flew apart. The month before that I had planned to buy the Westin Elite XD Pushbar... then my wife notified me that our water softener crapped itself... Oh well. I'll slowly add to it as time and money permit.

Dang our washer crapped out last week . It was washing then it stopped in the middle of the wash. Went over and was looking at it waiting for it to do something and then it did....the door opened on its own and about 20+ gallons flew out onto the floor. Flooded the upstairs and made its way through the floor into the ceiling in the downstairs and luckily into a garage and not a room. Had a waterfall coming down on the wife’s car, missed the Tahoe . Kenmore elite side loader junk. Went and spent $1200 on a Samsung top loader that same day from Lowe’s, most were out of stock so I had to buy the spendy one. Home Depot had not one single washer or dryer in stock. They would have to order, 6-10 weeks. Have I explained how much I f**king love Alaska?!!!!
Hard lesson learned : Don’t buy kenmore or side loader if possible.
Earlier this year my fridge crapped out , bought a new one of those (another $1200). 2020 pulling out all the tricks.

Anyway I’m ready for Halloween :death:870EB174-12B9-4392-93B2-821AD4AE2191.jpeg

Appliances are in short supply all over. We are a GE house here. I hate appliance issues. I would almost rather my vehicle break down then have to deal with an appliance that is on the fritz.

A year or so ago we decided to replace our stove and refrigerator and looked at getting some Samsung stuff due to price point, but found that service for Samsung stuff around me sucks. Closest "Certified Samsung Service Tech" is 1-1/2 hours away and heard that parts are super hard to get. Had to replace my dad's gas dryer a couple weeks ago and the local appliance store that we use said they hit their yearly goal for sales at the beginning of August this year for new units. Fortunately, they had a gas dryer in stock. They are having issues with repair parts though. Said many are showing 4-6 week backlog which has helped with the new unit sales, they believe.

Get a cheap backup camera. Assuming you have a double din stereo..? That’s what made me pull the trigger on my radio upgrade. Backup camera = necessary. I got this one and have been quite happy with it: AUTO-VOX Cam 6 Rear Reverse Backup Camera License Plate Parking Rearview System of 170-Degree Wide Angle for Cars Truck & RV with Waterproof Night Vis https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01HZM70NU/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apip_Tb8r5eFOCSBvP

I’ve had problems with my Samsung fridge as well as 3 other family members. I won’t buy Samsung or LG large appliances. Their TV’s and electronics are great. Large appliances not so much. $0.02.
