It snapped it perfect and just 2 small bolts screw down on the 2 ends. Not like my Tahoe where I had to use screws to hold it up. It’s also more black than in the pic. Angle makes it look lighter.

Removed the weathered pinstripes and dealer sticker with a 3M Stripe Eraser, which worked great. There is hard adhesive residue remaining and I'll see if the detailer can buff it out. No chemical I tried would touch it, although polishing compound worked somewhat by hand. Need to wash the big girl but the street is still snow-packed so she can wait.

Try a rag soaked in thinner moving along the residue slowly.

I'll try that once the temps come up a bit. Dang cold out there with clouds and breeze, especially working with fluids that evaporate quickly. I tried acetone, denatured alcohol, isopropyl alcohol, WD40, gun bore cleaner, probably a few other things, etc., not in that order. Left the MEK on the shelf. I think it'll buff out, but not by my hand.

When I took off my door molding on my 2007 Silverado, I found that 3M spray adhesive remover and the eraser wheel did the trick.

Might have to swing by the auto parts store and pick some up. The remaining adhesive is pretty hardened, not soft at all.
