What about the mileage? The temp hit 45 today, so I decided to hit the salvage yard just to see what's new. I lucked out and found this : View attachment 271678 Maybe this one will give me an accurate speed. I'll swap in some blue LEDs and give it a go.
Hopefully it'll work this time. The temp hit 45 today, so I decided to hit the salvage yard just to see what's new. I lucked out and found this : View attachment 271678 Maybe this one will give me an accurate speed. I'll swap in some blue LEDs and give it a go.
60K less than original. I might try that jumper method to correct it.What about the mileage?
What's odd is that I have another 100MPH cluster with the trans temp that is off. The needle sweep is the same as my original w/o the T.T. , but it still reads off.Hopefully it'll work this time.
Jumper method? I thought you need an eeprom programmer or send it out to somebody that does it.60K less than original. I might try that jumper method to correct it.
I decided to make an instrument cluster repair harness. Rather crude, but does the job.View attachment 271407
Yeah, an EEPROM with the jumpers soldered to specific pins on the secondary integrated circuit.Jumper method? I thought you need an eeprom programmer or send it out to somebody that does it.
