Hmm. I don't have that insert either! One more thing to put on the U-Pull list to look for.

Also, I’m missing that little insert in the center console, you have on the left side. Looks like it’s to hold a smaller cup.. (looks like a beer bottle size, actually! [emoji1787]) do you have a part number on that there doohickey...?

ive got the same little cup holder in my 05, figured they all came with it, its just a rubber cup holder piece that sits there. it literally just lifts up, nothing keeps it in place.

I need help, I need to know what fuse or source feeds this wire that I have the tap connector c9 2005 suburban, I checked all the fuses and all are good, it has power and apparently I shorted it, MID-BUS ELECTRICAL C9 (DRIVERS FLOOR KICK PANEL)

According to my GM Service Manual, that is circuit 3240 which says it feeds UE1, the OnStar system. It looks like it is fused through the INFO fuse in the underhood fuse box.

Damn that looks good! Iirc, you replaced the leather on the driver seat? Also, I’m missing that little insert in the center console, you have on the left side. Looks like it’s to hold a smaller cup.. Thanks. Yes, I did replace drivers seat bottom with one from The Seat Shop. My 03 did not have that small insert in the cup holder. 1st time I saw one was when I bought the 05. I actually think it may be to hold an ashtray if I’m not mistaken. It’s small, if you put a small cup from fast food restaurant in it, when you pick up the cup, the insert comes with it. Beer bottle is probably about the right aisle. I keep it there since I put my phone “in” it with the top of the phone leaning against the CB. The insert is rubber and holds it still while driving. Sorry, but no idea on part number.

thank you thank you
that fuse tested good for continuity but when I pulled it, it was blown enough to not supply power
all good now, thanks!!!!!

grand total of about $125 and you are good for another 5-8 years before they should be replaced again they are a maintenance item. The plastic gets brittle and soft from heat and cold over time
thanks! Those do not eliminate the extra quick connects. I've seen that billet Ts are available for like$80 each. I replaced the white T and black quick disconnect with gm oem parts. I swear I've done these before on this truck. I know I did them on my Denali.
