I did that a few years ago and the fog lights rusted and leaked. I recently replaced them with a set of OEM fog lights (including brackets) and I'm much happier. Wish I'd followed the "buy once, cry once" motto the first time around.
Yep, they’re not even very expensive either.

So after the last project which saw a new gear box, pitman,idler and bracket. Steering feels great! However I want to get the upper arms and lower ball joints done too. Got these coming next week! This will complete my front end so I can install my 08 Tahoe front brske swap. But I also bought more tools and I'm waiting on front brakes to at least squeak! Pads were replaced last year
