Got the Hellwig F & R sway bars installed today.!

Also the center rear brake line I had made, to replace the faulty one that was in the kit. So glad, now it’s all stainless!

Also replaced the super short bumpstops with slightly taller ones. Now they contact the jounce stops, as they’re supposed to. [emoji106]

I didn’t have a chance to take her on any canyon carving today [emoji57].. but just during the short drive home, I could definitely feel a significant difference! She feels completely planted now!
Nice. I have the rear coming. I wonder how hard it'll be to do it on the ground.

I’m waiting on my Goodridge 14175 SS brake line kit myself and front rotors. Why is every time I order a bunch of stuff, one or two things takes forever! Just doing all new rotors/pads, but the gmt900 calipers/rotors up front. Skipping this new new brake mod lol

No way. My back is all kinds of fooked this last couple weeks. I could barely handle putting the shit in the back! I did help out, but it was painful af, and I didn’t really do shit.

So what's the verdict and impression on the ride control after the installation??
Oh man...! It is awesome! I didn’t have much time to do anything yesterday, what with parental / husband-type obligations and such, but today, I took her for a ride down a road nearby, called “Riverdale”. Folks who live around here know the road, as it’s supposedly haunted, but I’ve always enjoyed the curves. Though, I haven’t really driven quickly on this road with the Yukon, I used to drive 80+ on it in my Civic.

So I decided to try it out today. I should have done a before / after, but hadn’t thought about it.

But I can say, she is PLANTED to the road!! I could have gone much faster, but there was some traffic, and like I said, haven’t driven it in years, and never (quickly) with this truck.

Nonetheless, I was able to hit some corners at 65-70+ and not even break a sweat. If there had been less traffic, I would have tried a bit harder, but I was seriously floored with how well she corners now! Also keep in mind, I’m at stock height rear, with the front cranked, to level.

I have a dash cam video, but it’s pretty long, and annoyingly, you can hear my dumb ass bitching about other drivers.. lol! Lmk if you really want to see it, and I’ll share.

What’s up with your back? I have constant back pain, some days worse than others but I always have to use a small pillow when I’m sitting, right in the small of my back. I ice it a couple times a day and use Biofreeze too. It was screaming tonight after I moved a few 6’ pieces of old telephone poles in my back yard and then spent hours hunched over a gate I built today. So I did a 20 minute hot soak in the tub and I’m turning in early. Sucks.
