Huge thanks to @Fless, I now have the final component needed to get my efan conversion done!

Thanks so much Steve! You da man!! And we had a great time perusing the poor wrecked NBS’ at the junkyard. [emoji106][emoji16]

On another note... my backrest heater went out this week, which I use every day.. helps a lot with my back pain issues. So I’ve ordered the seat covers, and new heater elements for both the top and bottom. I already had the seat bottom foam, and it doesn’t look like anyone sells the backrest foam, so I’ll end up with an almost completely new driver seat.

Since I’ll be doing that, I figured I should replace this part that’s bugged me since day one owning the truck. It seems warped, or maybe improperly installed, but want to get a replacement. I’m having a heck of a time finding it!!

Heck, yeah, we had a great time meeting up and picking through all of the NBS trucks. Kinda sad to see them in that shape, and there wasn't a whole lot to get this time. I picked up one Esky applique and some 2000 wiper arms that will fold up (and stay up) from the windshield while it gets scraped of ice or just cleaned. I'm going to try them as-is to see if there is any interference with the hood, then paint and install them if they clear okay.

I'll be heading out to another one either late today or tomorrow afternoon, see what else I can find.

Have you tried a little heat gun action on it Sam? Might be able to straighten it out some.

Looks like the attachment near the front is not in right, or broken (the yellow arrow, the one with the guide pin). Here's what it looks like on the backside. Four attachment points, one of which is around the back of the seat and that one looks like the standard clip; the others are smaller black clips. (The lines you see are molding lines, no cracks in mine.)

Hard to tell from the picture- did you get the bushings with the grease fittings?
Yes...it's the only option Energy Suspension showed on the website??? However there special bushings grease isn't available in mini cartridges or what is everyone else using to grease these?? I have some EP moly high temp grease for the other chassis pieces loaded in my mini grease gun right now.

Had to pause on the rears. I'm go buy some new rear sway bar links as the current ones looking busted. Might as well replace them too. The grease in the energy suspension packages was tacky as heck!!

I just use the same synthetic grease in all my chassis fittings , don’t remember the brand.

I bought my 05 Denali knowing it had next to no oil pressure. Brought it home and dropped the pan and found tons of metal filings. Pulled engine and tore it down and found the rod and main bearings to look great. After I got the crank out I could see the main issue...spun #3-4 cam bearings. So after a trip to the machine shop for a block prep it was back on the stand getting all new King bearings, sealed power rings, Summit Pro LS truck cam, LS 7 lifters, Melling timing set and oil pump. The heads got treated to new LS7 springs, new seals and a surface. I'm used all Felpro gaskets and some new Summit head bolts...not the TTY stockers. Been taking care of little things along the way, new headlight assy, marker and DRL lenses, good bath and buffing, New tires, brakes and rotors all the way around, new front hubs, lower ball joints, inner and outer tie rod ends. Next week I will go through the front diff and put new bearings in it...yes it howls like dog looking for some love! After that it will be new mufflers and tail pipes. Still not sure what mufflers I'm goin to use, leaning towards Magnaflow, Borlas, maybe some bigger Flowmaster 50 series delta flows. That's it for now.
