Got my DD pioneer p3300bt fabbed in my hoe, not a bad job just time consuming and tedious. I would HIGHLY recommend this unit for anyone looking that also has an iphone4. I am able to use bluetooth, run pandora, stream netflix and use voice turn by turn navigation just by plugging in my iphone.

Isn't that a 1.5 din opening on the 01? I have a 01 Yukon but have hesitated to mod a double din opening. Did you have to do much cutting? Did you have to cut the trim piece that covers the entire dash? Any info is appreciated. Yours looks great.

Yea it was a 1.5 din when I started. Yea the dash bezel needed to be trimmed out to fit, wasnt hard at all. I made these adapters out of plastic to fit the tab locks on

you have to trim off some of the cage as well so it will slide all the way in

That and trimming the bezel is about it, really easy just time consuming

Replaced seat fabric with identical part due to tearing. Discovered it tore because the foam stuffing tore due to frame cutting everything up. Smoothed frame, reinforced foam padding, and installed new OE cover. Now I think I can go leather without swapping seats. Cover material is easy to replace on front seats.
