On Melling's Parts Lookup, they show the 10295, 10296, M295 and M295HV. The M295 is listed as stock replacement and the first two are different levels of performance upgrades. The 10296 is higher volume and pressure.
Thanks. Looking closer, it seems this comes with a higher (+25PSI) and stock springs, if I'm reading that right:

I forgot which pump I got for my brother's LM7, but it was a high volume stock replacement. It came with two, maybe three springs with the red one (highest pressure) installed. I had the crank pulley installed and torqued down with new bolt, then had a nagging feeling that I should use the blue spring. So I bought another $6 OEM crank bolt, took the pulley and front cover back off and swapped in the blue spring. So glad I did! He has perfect oil pressure. The red one would've caused too much pressure at high RPM. If your pressure is a little low from age/wear, get an HV pump at most, but run the lower PSI spring.

On my list for a day off when weather is nice. I need to fix the two needles and solder the PRNDL connections. I go by feel on shifting, but it might be nice to see I am in R and not N, when trying to shift too quickly during a 3-point in traffic.

I've done that soldering job on 2 clusters now and its a pain. Super small surface mount resistors on the board and sometimes it's difficult to see which one is the culprit, and you end up re-soldering all of them.

But hey if you're going to all that trouble you might as well solder in some new/colored LEDs for your gauges.

Yeah, I was planning to use the stock spring. That's the plan. I figure 38 psi hot idle is great. No need to increase that.

I thought about adding a washer under my spring, for just a little extra oil pressure, idk though. I have the m295

I'm giving up on these...
Have lowered your standards and expectations to my level? Wait... That's impossible!

Besides perfection, what were you aiming for on those?

I am just happy mine is not perforated and blistered with rust from road salt, like the steel pan I had on my Jeep TJ. The aluminum pans on my Tahoe keep the stuff inside inside and they don't leak. Works for me.

My 04 Z71 has zero potential for restoration, so I have to resign myself to a much lower set of standards and expectations. Nothing about it is or ever will be perfect and I am perfectly fine with that. Keeping it running, which hasn't been that difficult so far, and keeping it in OK condition until I am paid off on the loan is my goal.

I imagine it is a different situation, when you have the potential to make things 100%, but have occasional troubles getting there.

You have a great build underway! You are doing an awesome job with everything I have seen so far!
