Wish I had a garage like that to work in. I don't even have a carport or even an actual paved driveway anymore since I recently moved. I have to do everything in the grass or the gravel/crushed stone driveway. That stuff is HELL on your back when changing the oil.
Welcome to the sad sack club! I am a founding member...

You haven't lived until you've been wrenching in the hot sun and 98% humidity, only to get the bejeebers zapped out of you when your sweat covered arm contacts the battery terminal and the wrench in your sweaty hand grounds out on whatever bolt you were working on! You find out that you make a great conductor of electricity real fast!!

Ahhh... Sweet memories of sweating the gnads off on summer DIY repairs.... Good times.
I can only image what it is like to work under cover, out of the cold weather and hot sun.

Yes, a tent would be an option, if my driveway were wide enough for other cars to get around with tent legs sticking out. So not an option in my case.

Definitely envious of all those amazing garage workshops! Maybe I'll hit the lottery and rent a garage to work in with a lift, MIG welder and all the cool toys...

Ok, so you bought new battery bolts to then attach the upgrade charge/ground? Nice. THat's what I need to do so I can install my new Mechman. Was contemplating a double post battery because I couldn't figure out a solution.
My stock battery posts were so small, and the 1/0 gauge wire and connections were so thick there was no way I could make it work.
Autozone had duralast GM style battery post extenders for like $7 each it was the perfect solution.
