on my 05 hoe, I got the encoder motor sensor. Was kinda a PIA to take the motor apart and realign the gears after replacing the sensor, but now 4wd works and no more "service 4wd" light!
Okay guys, heads up. I found out today that the headlights and bumper lights that I bought are ******! One of the angel eyes has already stopped working, and the bumper light on the same side is filled with water, even though I sealed the housings up really well with silicone, BEFORE I even put 'em on, so, word to the wise. Stay away from these:
rerunning the power wire from the passenger side to the drivers side
I'm wasting a good 5 feet of wire just by having it run across the engine bay and down
plus now I'll have ground and power on the same side
Got bored today and finally stopped raining for a while. So i gave in and did the Swiss cheeze mod... 4 big holes, and some little ones. Heres a pic of mine. (junk photo but ideas there)
Havent gone anywhere to notice but will in time.. And ordered some RF1652 components..
I bought my Tahoe a Friend...
... Now dont be mad.... It's an F-150 (I can almost hear the grumbling from some). Couldnt beat the end of year clearance sales and the $$ they took off of it. Now I simply have to start modding it along with the Tahoe.
Looked at the Silverado and the Sierra but the local lots didnt/weren't willing to deal and had pretty suck inventory.
Seafoamed the intake
changed the oil/filter (now running full synthetic)
added a K&N pannel filter
and replaced the factory muffler with a Magnaflow can
