Got my Cargo-Slide altered and installed, this weekend... Link.

And, then, today after work I repaired the broken wire to the Tow/Haul switch.
Scary thing is, I'm getting too good at that. I had to do the same repair on the Avalanche.
You know, if that darn wire is that bad, GM should be making this repair FOR US.

After driving over 40+ hours this past weekend :van: I came home from work motivated to fix something on my daily. The spare tire holder was covered in some crazy sticky nonsense that was all over the back of the truck (spare tire is mounted in the rear compartment for those that aren't aware). Not only was it covered in this crap but the rear tire never sat properly and would rattle worse than a baby on speed! So I cleaned it up and then sanded it down and sprayed it black. Don't mind the red in the pic I grabbed the wrong can. :doh2: Re-installed everything and now that mother don't make a peep!!!

Yes it got some dirt on it but that just adds to my motif! And yes my paint skills suck

Finally found what was rattling in my headliner behind my head. The panel retention pin was just sitting in the front rear vent so it would roll and rattle at any bump. Then checked the rest and found that the one on the passenger side was also just sitting in the vent. so replaced both and tightened the rest holding the headliner in and now it is so much quieter.

Clay bar, polish (had to do by hand, turns out those 10" orbital buffers are pos') and liquid wax.

Shiny smooth!

Too bad previous owners didn't take care of her like she needed to be, lots of chips and scrapes. Despite my best efforts, she'll need sanded and painted within a few years i'm afraid.

Just finished up on a trans service and installed a drain plug in the pan while I had it off.
