What you replace a bad thermostat with a bad thermostat and you question your entire life looking for the solution because it can't be the new thermostat you just put in.........

I replace a new thermostat with a new thermostat today. While in the process broke off the heads on the two bolts the hold the thermostat neck to the water pump (couldn't get the threads out), so then I got to replace the new water pump with a new water pump as well......

@05Single I just caught that. You think they're dim? They look pretty bright at night. Unless you're talking about the led's for the brake lights, then yes, I thought they weren't bright enough, which I felt was safe. For a second I thought you meant the backup lights. The link I sent still applies tho. Same led's.

Show off!
Did my rear resistors today. View attachment 71167 View attachment 71168
I was going to screw them into the sheet metal using self taping screws, but honestly I hate making any kind of holes in clean metal. To me, it just invites rust. So I used some trusty zip ties to hold them to that steel brace. I made sure they we're nice and tight, and away from the metal body of the resistor, since they get so hot. View attachment 71174
I also put in white led's for my backup lights. There was some slight fogging inside the reverse lenses, so I dried them out with a hair dryer and dabbed some silicone(rtv)between the bulb housing and lens--i hope I'm making sense ----That should keep the moisture out. I highly recommend guys doing the rtv who are running aftermarket lenses. Some of those rubber gaskets are crappy, allowing moisture to get inside. I replaced the brake light bulbs with led's, but Imo they weren't bright at all, and I don't need to be rear ended by some moron who isn't paying attention. View attachment 71173
Wait , are the leds on the right or the left in this pic? I'm confused now  lol

Oh nvm you got it, lol yea it's weird how they are dimmer than the halogens. I kinda expected that.
I was thinking jdm astars would be great in those , but they are about $25 a pair

I love my JDM's. They cost a lot but no questions asked for warranty replacements, and mild to bright AF as far as selection. All I run.

Switchbacks in the front? @Tonyrodz

Resistors? No, that's in the rear lights. I was going to put amber led's in the front blinkers, but I couldn't find the ones I have, plus I thought it would've been too much. I put amber Led's in my drl, which doesn't look bad. They're not very noticeable in the daylight, which I like.
