I really want to. My mom’s not a big fan due to the already limited room we have at the house, but it’s a pretty cool truck and I’m hoping seeing it tomorrow confirms that

Don’t know if this is the right thread for this, but tomorrow I’m gonna look at this suburban to see if the guy wants to trade for my 96. It’s a little rough, but it’ll be a toy, and I’ve always been a big fan of the old squarebody burbs.

Yessss a sweet project truck. My brothers and I rode in 3 different square body Suburbans as kids. Love them.

I took a couple of pics of the 3" rear coil spacers and adjustable panhard bar from Supreme Suspensions that I installed a while back. I guess when you go up over 2" in the rear it can mess with the lateral movement of the tires/wheels. Mine were sticking out about an inch or so further on the passenger side. The adjustable panhard bar put it back to normal.

I swapped in Z71 springs and 2" spacers, kept the factory bar, and I don't think the driver's and passenger sides are different by even 1/4". Like you, I swapped out the sway bar links, I used ones for a 3" lifted Jeep Wrangler.
Glad to see you zip-tied the E-brake cable, as opposed to letting it dangle free. Zip ties kept breaking with mine, I finally used some 2" wide Gorilla duct tape, and wrapped about 8 layers over the cable and bar. Has been holding up for over a year:happy107:.

Cars that can be started from your phone already exist. My wife's Mazda CX5 had the option available. Brothers GL63 has phone start too.
I know theres aftermarket kits that allow this but didn't know factory was doing it. Nice.
My cousin has the viper remote start with his smart phone.

got my wide band installed. was raining hard just as i finished up installing it, as i was looking for a dead fuse under the hood key off. ( got wet) skirted the few rain showers i had during install, at least it was over 40º.

missed the paint color by a few shades, good news is it matches the lighter trim in the truck so its not 100% awful.

im not one to fully trash things, like drilling a large hole in the A pillar, so i ground a hole on the bottom back side and ran them in the open a few inches. not like you can really see em.

and on top of all that. i added a load of fuel to get the ltft in a normal area, i was showing +6 at idle and driving around, added to the maf and got it to -3 idle and driving around, wb pic there is at idle, showing 14. 6 to 8 aka perfect, and wot is at 12.4 ish also perfect. and that was from me just adding a splash of fuel and commanding the pe mode to be at, yup 12.2. f ing nailed it again without a wb. but in the end guessing is not best, you really need to know what your AFR is in real time.

once it gets nice out again im off to add some more timing now that i know the fuel is more then safe. truck already has woken the hell up a lot. timing should really be a topper. being im 100% knock free right now, had some knock when it was still a stock tune. aka there that lean BS tune for ya.
