Fiddled around with the hood latch trying to pull the center of the hood down to eliminate the gap between the hood and grille... didn't have much luck. In the process though, I noticed the headlights were pointed at the freakin' SKY!

Aimed them down to where they were flush with the grille on both axis and brought my e-torx socket with me to work so I could correctly aim them on my break.

Mush mo betta!

Probably wouldn't hurt to double check that the headlight retaining pins are installed correctly I noticed my passenger side was way up and the pins weren't fully seated they needed up going behind the bottom mounting point. I fixed that and bam level again

Thanks, bud. Yeah I made sure of that already. Previous owner just didn't know what they hell they were doing when they "aimed" the headlights.

Decided recently I needed to start doing some cleanup on my Yukon XL. I'm not sure why, but there's so much inconsistency. For instance, 3 of the 4 doors have a rain guard, 1 of 2 mudflaps, 2 of 4 doors have edging, etc...

So...I removed the door edging from the 2 doors and cleaned up the remaining residue and removed the single mud flap. I'm leaving the rain guards until I get replacements. I also pulled one of the tail lights and gave it a good sanding/buffing as it looked like it had been clear coated and was flaking off (still need to do the other tail light). Removed the rear upper vent appliques, gave them a good scrubbing and buffed them out as they were looking pretty faded.

Just working through little things here and there to help it present better.
You're new, welcome. We like pics :waytogo:

Lookin good, now you need some taillights. I have a nearly brand new set of smoked Spyder tails if you're interested. I had clear lens Spyder's on my wife's Denali, bought a set of smoked and put them on. They were on for 3 days and she complained, so I went back to the clears. Shoot me a PM if you'd like.
