I feel that way but those aftermarket cv axles don't seem to get good reviews from all the researching i've done. Not many people around to rebuild them either. You know someone around your area Tonyrodz?

Same luck I have. I noticed just before the line blew that my oil pressure is reading 80 psi. That's new.

Extracted a broken exhaust manifold bolt, installed ARP studs, a new manifold gasket, a new valve cover gasket and new coils (everything on a passenger side). Also found a cracked dipstick tube, which is probably a cause of my relatively high LTFT (9 during idle, 6 during highway cruising). Ordered a new dipstick tube and PCV hose, the the old one has become brittle and has cracks.

How bad was it getting those manifolds off so you can pull that out? My other truck is a 06 Chevy HD with the 6.0 and it had an exhaust leak pretty bad about a month ago so I went out there to to see if I could snuggle Mall up because one of them was already on kpop 0

Sorry my phone started tripping out as I was trying to write that post but what I meant to say is that there is no way you can spray paint the door panels and kick panels and it will last. I'd be afraid to do an area that large and have it start flaking off or chipping away

Went to install a new blend door actuator today In the rear.... found out that the actuator could be fine because when i pulled the actuator the rod came out with it. I'll grab pics tomorrow since I'm not done.....


But overall what happened was the rod snapped off the door which made it stay in the down position so only got air would blow. When i pulled the motor the rod fell inside the whole casing. So I spent a good chunk of an hour to an hour and a half figuring out how to take apart the rear ac unit.

I did it found the rod and jb welded it back together. I have no doubt that this thing is solid.


As I was attempting to reinstall everything tonight I could not for the life of me get this son-of-a-***** to line up. So I called it quits and left it alone and I'll finish it in the morning.


I also made a trunk organizer for my police gear. It's made from 2x10s and is 48"x36" with 3 sections. I'm going to sand it and stain it tomorrow and hopefully when I'm done with my ac I'll have a nice clean trunk ready for work Wednesday

Ac is all back together there were no good pics to take. However I did start painting the dash. I picked a flat metallic iron color looks good so far.
