They're in a pile in my garage. Duh.

Don’t ever bust my chops again.....lmao.... i think you have more parts in ‘storage’ than i do at this point.....lol

The video is upside down, I know, but you get the gist.

See photo below with yellow arrow for where I am hearing the noise.

AC clutch, idler puller, bearings, belt?

A/C on makes the noise.
A/C off some noise, but not as noticeable. Sometimes gets a bit quieter after more driving. Quite pronounced at start up. But always clicking.

A\C blows cold and strong.

Yellow arrow is where noise is most noticeable.

@Fosscore when was last a/c belt change? I’d slap a belt on but while its off spin all pulleys that you can by hand just to see if anything jumps out at you, then put new belt on... cheapest, easiest and you’re gonna end up doing it anyway. Idk..... just my .02. Good luck

Does that work on painted surfaces also?

Not really. It has made some of the old paint on the frame bubble but does not eat it off.
It is a slow go but it is working. I used the 4" grinder with a wire wheel on what I could get to today to speed up the process. We will see.

Ok. Serp and AC belt at same time or just AC belt?

Take a spray bottle with water and spray on certain parts. Like the AC belt and see if it changes the sound.

Might give that a go as well.

Thx input guys.

Would like to accomplish this one myself, but TBH I do not recall last belt change without digging through my binder.

I have not had to deal with a belt change myself, but wouldn’t mind giving it a go. I can YouTube it, but you guys have any tips? Thx.

Edit: watched YouTube video, but got sidetracked with this...

Not 'storage'. In 'queue'.

All Rockauto.
@HiHoeSilver

Did you go with all AC Delco parts on Rock Auto? Standard or HD stuff if it was available? For example the AC Delco AC belt has a few different levels and prices as does the tensioner. $20 difference between standard and OEM. Thx man.
