A lot of those are ez fixes. What's wrong with reservoir? If it's leaking it's more than likely the pump is cracked from someone running too much water in the system and it froze and cracked. The tow haul need the wires soldered back together..the regulators are $30 and ez to do.

Just gotta stay up on maintenance or you build a list. Nothing wrong with my interior and I'm in TX where the sun cooks everything..sounds like it rained in your truck at some point.

Florida here - gets in the triple digits here during the summer. Probably did in GA where this thing was bought from too. I think the PO's boyfriend did some "custom work" and didn't know what the hell he was doing. There's a lot of broken panel clips and the dash trim bezel is poorly cut for a double-din. There's a pair of HIDs in the fog lamps that look like a third grader wired them up and they don't work. Really it's just fixing the PO's lack of maintenance and/or f-ups when attempting to work on stuff that was over his head.

As far as the washer res goes, I'm pretty sure the whole res is cracked. You can pour fluid in and within 5 minutes, it completely empties itself onto the ground.

I'll check the wiring with the shift lever.... is it the button itself or the wiring into the steering column? I've never had an OD button quit on me, so I've never messed with one.

I don't know about a $30 regulator though... I originally thought it was just the motor, so I ordered a replacement but discovered the cable inside the regulator had committed suicide. So a new regulator is on its way.... and even from Rock Auto it cost more than 30. I don't like to get the cheapest part I can find. And I wouldn't say they're ez... I've certainly worked on worse, but I've definitely worked on easier than these damn tahoe windows.

Now, why do you think it rained in the truck?

Yeah I'm sure it gets hot in GA, it sounds like the PO BF was kind of a hack and they creates more work undoing their mess.

The pump is at the bottom of the reservoir so you can pull the fender liner and see if it's the pump. I did try to RTV it and ended up with a mess and clogging 1 washer nozzle.i stopped hacking after that. Not hard to replace, but I think I pulled my battery tray to replace the pump. I left orange and green fluid trails everywhere I went until I replaced the pump lol.

The tow/haul wire runs into the steerimg column. You just need to separate the top and bottom covers and you will see an orange wire. It usually snaps from tilting the steerimg wheel. I need to permanently fix mine.

Here is a regulator I just bought for my truck off Amazon. $38..so a little more than 30. The cable usually gets eaten and goes off track. Not worth the time to rebuild and I just replace the whole thing. I'm familiar with my truck so I can get in and out pretty quick,

The reason I say it got rained in is the various switches not workimg and the dropped headliner. Every time I've seen that happen is after a lot of moisture got inside and then allowed to sit with the windows up. Not going to say anything about it being female owned, but that's how I know about the headliner thing.

Alright I'll check that out. I know I can see it through the gaps in the fender lining and I need to trim the liner anyway because the new tires rub it a little so I'll knock that out when I get around to trimming that. Thanks!

Ah.... I dunno man, I think it's just a combo of age, heat, mileage, and improper maintenance and care, to be honest. Carpet was dry as a bone when we got it and no funky smells in it either.... also no car care smells trying to cover up funky smells ;)

Obviously, I can't say that with full confidence though because we got this thing this past March with 203k already on it... so who knows. lol

While I am replacing the transmission I am going to replace the rear main seal and oil pan gasket. I also purchased the billet seal install kit and one of these billet barbells from https://www.saccitycorvette.com/
I also got the modified oil pickup tube bolt but haven't installed it yet, I'm still working on getting the oil pan off.

It actually wasn't that bad, air tools, HF trans jack, long extensions and taking your time are key ingredients. Also soak the exhaust nuts in PB blaster for a couple days.
