Ok so all of this has taken place over about the last 6 months, but this is what I’ve done to my 2001 Tahoe LT 4x4 so far...
Bilstein 5100s all the way around
Z71 rear coil springs
3” level keys
22” replica wheels wrapped in 33x12.50 Renegade MTs
2” wheel spacers
20% tint on front, 5% windshield strip
Kenwood speakers in all doors
Powerakoustic “1.5 DIN” touchscreen
Replaced blown factory rear sub
Roof rack removed
Knock off flowmaster 10 series SI/DO to 45s behind tires with 4” SS tips
New clear headlights with silver star bulbs
Niteshade RED tinted tail lights to remove orange turn signal
New radiator
New starter

Truck has ~281,000 miles. Gotta replace headliner and get some good seat covers. Also will eventually get some body work and a paint job on it. This is the truck I always wanted in high school so now I plan on keeping it pretty much forever lol Only paid $2500 and so far she’s been great to me

Ummmm........

Sad day on the 26th...... I had to say farewell to my beloved Chevy Tahoe. After 10 long years it was the day it decided our relationship should end.....

I will forever miss you tahoe many great years; sorry to see you go.

I totaled my tahoe on the morning of the 26th on my way into work. I was going around a curve and the backend slid out from underneath me. I spun around and the wheels caught the grass and I went airborne only to land on the drivers side. What stopped my momentum was an electrical pole as you will seen in the pics.

Someone was definitely looking out for me this morning. I was taken to the local hospital to be checked out. I was given some pain meds and muscle relaxer to help with the pain. I have since been back to the hospital for a second time and been given new meds. If the pain I am concerned about continues I am to follow up with my *** and to ask for an MRI.

Suxs that you totaled your truck. The good is that you survived. I've had mine forever too and can imagine how you feel. I've never been a fan of A/T tires on wet roads. I bet the truck still drove even after that hard hit. They are indeed tanks.

Took my first ride today with the new shocks--MAN, what a huge difference! Didn't bottom out in the rear and rode so much better and just felt "tighter". Also, looks like it raised it a little bit.Maybe 1/4" or a little more, front andrear. Not that great of a pic to tell.View attachment 213121 View attachment 213122

Which shocks did you use. I currently have monroe matic crap in mine and its a wobbly drunk sometimes.
