I dont have that problem here in AK:bleh:. And our winters here are twice as long as anyone else:shrug:View attachment 215318

why the high beam splitter? The projectors are bi-xenon right? Factory high beam spot is black now. And why halogens and not hids ?!!:fca5278d:
Also excellent work, cant wait to see the finished product lol :waytogo:

Thank you! The projectors are bi-xenon that's why I got the high beam splitter to active the bi-xenon solenoid in the projector when I hit the brights. The high beam reflector is still chrome i just still had them taped off in that picture. I didnt want to go hid for the high beam I figured a good bulb and bi-xenon low beam and the all lights on module would be enough.
I read one post on here where a guy was having reflection problems with leaving the low beam spot chrome with the same retro setup. That did cross my mind that the hid would scatter off the chrome bowl the projector sits behind.

Baked some sierra lights for dinner. Friends lights, he was scared to do it himself. I understand it's not for the faint of heart. But he wants white reflectors swapped from the clear housing to the stock housing. Apparently aftermarket housings are junk for Sierras/Yukons. They keep cracking with mounting brackets breaking and falling apart anybody on here have that problem?:shrug:View attachment 215322 View attachment 215319 View attachment 215321
I told him if we swapped lenses he would have garbage output unless he did a retrofit, ,so hes keeping the factory style diffuser lens:waytogo:

Agree baking headlights isnt for the faint of heart! When I first got my spyder headlights I threw one in the oven to see if the TRS spyder quick retro bracket would work. That was a nightmare splitting that spyder! Over an hour total time and having to throw it in the oven 3 times! I figured my denali lights would be the same but it wasnt! The first one I baked a little too long the reflector kinda melted but the headlight split in under a minute. I wanted to vht the reflectors and use them but ended up not using them being the one got a little too hot and shrunk and deformed.

I don't know if those are your actual pictures, or just stock pictures, but my projectors didn't look anything like that, and didn't have any clearance issues

weird

The picture of the projector and housing is mine the picture of the projector is one off google. We have different projectors so I'm sure they're different. If you look in circled part of this picture i took off the cb&d website this is what I'm referring to. Notice the silver arch on the projector sits above the window of the projector housing aka the black line that runs through it. Well mine was keeping it from sitting or mourning flush.

Spindles came in. Need to free up a lift to install this weekend. Also got these. Pnp led license plate lights off eBay for 13 bucks. X20 brighter than the 194 led bulb. 4abde845e65a527ce9c4c4ed3704492a.jpgb55bab2704171d59e7aa9400336556d6.jpg420d8f0ebc1f596eeba6bb739563162c.jpg

Might need to get those tag lights, nice! Also do want some 4wd lift spindles for the tahoe to retain 4wd hubs.

Thought you couldn't do lift spindles with 4wd due to the front axle shafts...

Correct. Mine is 2wd with a knuckle drop lift that uses factory spindles. So I can run lift spindles with it for more lift but when I did the lift I put in brand new 4wd hubs with the axle shaft going through it. So I want to use a 3-4 inch 4wd lift spindle that way I can retain the 4wd hub and shaft.
