What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Ordered some foam-backed suede for the headliner and some matching non-foam backed for the dash and some trim pieces. Time to make this 'Hoe a little less ragged lookin'!

Ended up being that they were under torqued. It was pretty much my first time ever doing brakes / new rims / whatever and I only used a torque gun, which didn't do the job.

The root cause was that I used lug bolts that were not designed for the application.

I was very fortunate that my coworker pointed it out so that we could fix it, before I ended up losing a tire at 85 MPH on my commute to work.

lugs cracking because they aren't deep enough and aren't meant for these rims

Lol. Changed the entire look of the truck (but no pics)

Oh yeah that’s important to use the right lugs. Glad you didn’t lose a wheel.

Lq4 or lq9 from a nbs truck or suv would be the easiest. Or a gen 4 from a nnbs and swap the things I mentioned above

Thats scary af. Howd you drive down the street on that?

"Torque gun" huh? Ive used rattle gun or impact... Anyways its a good idea to use a torque wrench. Nice of you to share your experience. Im sure someone will learn from it.

What about the VVT of the LY6?

Putting in a btr stage 3 truck cam. Texas speed makes a gen 4 to gen 3 kit which contains everything I’ll need to delete vvt along with the connector extensions needed.

Actually, I got 4 of the foam-backed just to be safe and 1 of the non foam-backed. Better to have more than you need than not enough.
