What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Finally got the last c clip in after loosing one. New heater hoses, and put on shrouds for fan. Loaded coolant and oil. Forgot key was on. Hooked up battery and the fuel pump fired off. Damn I wanted to spin the baby over for awhile to see oil pressure. But the dang thing started YES!!!!! Shut it off real quick because it was fuc#$&+ loud. Pulled fuse for fuel pump. Will pull fuse for spark and spin the baby over. Started it twice real quick thinking I could burn the fuel off, but nope. One happy camper. Need to tow to welder for down tubes to y pipe and magnaflow cat back. Then custom tune. WOW what a day

Anybody ever PAID to have their headliner redone? Mine is dropping and coming apart at the edges some. What is a reasonable price? This is something I will pay for, not try and learn on the job! I don’t like the factory material, I’d rather have something more like what my newer cars have. Just looking estimates if anybody’s gone through this. Thanks.

ive seen yt vids, you pull the headliner, rip the cloth off, then sand the foam off, you can now buy what ever fabric you like and put it on there with contact cement.

we had/have a place called the rag shop here, (who knows if they are still open these days) it was a sewing outlet type place, place like this sell everything and any thing you might like.

I got a quote from a local upholstery shop for something like $200 if I pulled it and reinstalled it. I figure I’d do it myself when the time comes. Mine just has a couple stains.

I tried that with an RCSB head liner and within a month it started to sag again because the glue I used couldn't withstand Florida summer.

Sounds pretty reasonable.. wait. To remove / install yourself..? Damn. Wonder what they’d charge for the whole job. I’d much rather pay someone to do the whole job. Not sure how I’d be transporting this bigass thing while removed. Lol.

Guess the black clamps are too big.. seemed right a year ago.. and I’ll likely be doing this again, since I’m out of the smaller ones.. oh well. Good for now.

I would have everything pulled out except the last couple things holding it up, then finish the removal at the shop. 95% of the work is removing all the trim pieces.
