Check off another item on the list. The day was nice, the garage was open and the new bump stops came in. Next up is the transmission filter and the water pump (after a nice flush). BTW, does anyone have the OEM part number for a water pump for an 02 5.3 gas.

A couple months ago installed some $40 LED headlight bulbs from Amazon. They sucked donkey balls, they were bright but it was like 2 little spot lights shining in front of me. Then I tried some Hella halogen 2.0 bulbs replace the LEDs, those were like using actual f****** candles, worse than my old bulbs. Then I remembered back in my Jeep days about HIR bulbs. I installed some Sylnvania Xtra-Vision 9012 or HIR2 bulbs and holy smokes it is amazingly bright and a nice wide beam. To use you just need to trim the center tab on the new bulb just match up with the regular 9006 bulb.

I used those on high beams for awhile. Pretty bright but a weird color.

Thanks wj. On the Summit Racing site its shows about a dozen or so AC Delco water pumps that all say they fit my specific vehicle and range in price from $99 to $200 and look the same to me. Just tryiong to see what others have used or recommend

I hate trying to negotiate Summits site. Try one of the online dealerships like gmpartsgiant or else rockauto.

ACDelco has three levels of quality.

ACDelco OEM which is top of the line OEM stuff

ACDelco Gold/Professional which is pretty good aftermarket stuff

ACDelco Silver/Advantage which is low cost parts.

If at all possible, use ACDelco OEM, which is what I shared.

ACDelco Gold/Professional is a decent 2nd choice.

Stay away fromACDelco Silver/Advantage, if you can.

Good advice right here. I keep forgetting that not everyone knows this.

Very long time, no post. The motor went out in my driver’s seat a while back so I’m trying to swap in some inexpensive seats from an ‘03+ To my ‘02 but having difficulty figuring out the wiring. So I’ll be nice and close to my steering wheel until I get it figured out!
You will probably need a whole new seat module from in 03 as well to make them work correctly.

I got tired of having to pull out a drop light I figured I would just ditch The original one and reroute wiring to These LEDs… Then the interior cargo area wasn’t bright enough either so tapped into the back cargo light so they come on when doors open.
