Installed running boards from a NNBS Escalade on my '04 Tahoe. Driver's side was a breeze while the passenger side was straight up fire and brimstone. I really like the look compared to NBS running boards. Would I do it again? Maaaaaaaaaybe.

Did you have to make new mounting holes for them or did they line up? I've been looking into a step install like this for a while.

All the mounting holes on the running boards lined up perfectly with the body. Mounting points higher up inside the body are also inline where the brackets attach.
I had to shorten five of the eight "J" shaped mounting brackets to attach them to the body's original mounting points. The driver's side rear bracket and all four on the passenger side will need to be modified. The three remaining driver's side brackets were fastened securely with fender washers in lieu of sectioning them. Photos attached of both sides all mounted and shiny.

There's more info in a Tech Info thread by Physh1 I've posted in that has more details. Other than modifying brackets to clear rear AC lines it's not a difficult install. If you don't have rear AC it shouldn't be more than a two hour job. I located my set on FB Marketplace. Be sure to get all 16ea original 13mm bolts and 8ea 13mm nuts along with brackets and boards. If brackets are not attached to boards you'll also need 8ea 10mm bolts to attach boards to brackets.

Thanks! I have a guy mechanic/restorer who is doing it. From what he was saying a lot of it you just need to scuff the clear and you can put clear over it. I never knew that.
The hood he had to take all the way down as it had tree sap dmg and dings and the roof was getting to point of no paint.
It's got to cure for a while then he has some cut and buff to do.

I bought the paint here they have the factory match color and my painter said the match is spot on.

I also bought the 2k in a premixed spray can for the hood of my mustang, he's going to paint that for me also.

I'm sure some of you are car buffs so I traded my wifes late aunts 86 monte with pretty sure only 122k miles single owner with dealer paperwork for the Denali paintjob and my 08 mustang hood painting. I could have fixed up the monte and painted it and prolly got more but the new owner is a really good hard working family man and I know he will treat it well and not flip it and he has always wanted a monte carlo of that generation. Sometimes life isn't about money but feeling good.

Car had been sitting for at least 3 years here and I have no idea how many at the aunts but it cranked up and he drove it home, all it needs so far is some suspension bushings that are dry rotted and he is in need of a daily driver.

Just got my baby back from my indy. New oil pressure sensor, headlight repaired, my gear shifter was starting to stick so I bought the parts and had him replace all everything on the column. Now that the weather is getting warm, going to have the body work done soon. Rust on the rockers and a touch on the wheel wells. Getting her back to new as possible.

OH and I thought my heated seats were done but I got them partially working this morning. Looks like I have a wire that is damaged in the cushion. If I sit a certain way they won't work. However if I shift a little bit they stay on and work as they should! Great on a 24 degree morning!
