It's a set of these, I bought them knowing I would do a retrofit eventually. I'm throwing in some morimoto d2s 4.0 square projectors for low/hi and debating an led highbeam.

I will definitely need info from you then. I just bought a set of these about a month or two ago. Not bad lights, but would love better light output. Do you have a thread on this or a build thread?

Off the bat if you order from trs the harness they give you isnt long enough. Other than that the morimoto seam splitters were pretty helpful but not 100% neccessary. It's not a crazy difficult process as long as you have some fabrication background. I'll post up some pics of the brackets I modified (cut apart with a dremel) once i get everything together. Currently waiting on another order from trs because i forgot a few things the first go around.

Still working my way through fluid changes. Rear Diff was today after the present opening was all done and company was gone (Yippee) I love the holidays but just kind of glad that Christmas is over! Rear Diff Fluid looked black but I see no sludge buildup and magnet was fairly clean. I filled it back with synthetic 75W90 and should be good for the remaining life of the vehicle (now at 200 just want +300k). I wire brushed the cover and applied some black paint Hmmm looks like I should have gotten those bolt heads to LOL.
I also took a close look at the trans fluid color (I have not changed it yet PIC Below) right side in pic is fluid off the trans dipstick, left side in pic is some new DexonVl that I poured on the paper towel for comparison. Trans cover has a drain plug so I plan on a quick drain and fill of whatever comes out of the drain plug for now (maybe 4 or 5 quarts?). Word on the street is a full flush could kill a high mileage transmission so I am being extra cautious since the 2ML70 trans in these Hybrids appears to be a very expensive unit. if it had been black and smelled burnt I would have had a tougher decision. I think it is in pretty good shape best I can tell for now.

I've seen the trs kit and it's base is $50, then by the time you add other stuff in, it's a lil over $200. I wasn't really sure as to what I should get without going overboard. I don't need fancy stuff, just better light output. Other shrouds and all that jazz I didn't need or wasn't sure if I needed. I'll look at it a bit more.

I went all out and got the full d2s 4.0 kit, I think I was around $350 after discounts and everything but I got a bunch of extra stuff that isnt really needed. I was eyeing the retroquick kit but decided if if was going to crack open the headlights I might as well go all out.

I've noticed a lot of those around where I live and most of them the daytime running lamp/strip go out.
