Pretty cool. Tell me more about what I could do with the MyGMC app on my ‘13 XL Denali.

Now if we can figure out a way to update the NAV data base like this instead of getting a DVD, that would be awesome!

Yes, only updated the Nav Radio software, not the map data.

The MyGMC app works in conjunction with OnStar. I can search or enter in an address and it will map it then I can choose to send it to the vehicle (basically not having to type in the destination on the Nav screen).

The app also has a keyfob page where you can start, stop, lock, unlock, and panic the vehicle from anywhere.

Has a locate option. Displays the vehicles current location on a map.

Also has a vehicle status screen. Queries vehicle and tells you mileage, how much fuel is in it, range, tire pressures, oil life percentage, and average fuel efficiency.

it's not to bad smell wise, I did a rookie move and took all bolts out and the cover just fell off and f&*(k like a dam broke and flooded the village

Lol, only loosen the top and sides and remove the bottoms, then break the gasket seal (if rtv/sealant used) free at the bottom by prying a bit.

Now is a good time to replace the cover with one with a drain plug.

Never understood why they don’t put drain plugs on the rear like they do on the front. Of course in the front, I’ve seen people drain the oil out the drain plug only to find that the fill plug is seized up and won’t come out. Then there left with an empty differential and no way to easily refill it.

ya i'm putting a aluminum one on with a drain plug, gotta make a run back to the hardware store for longer bolts I was worried they were going to be too long and bought ones just a hair too short.
