Never understood why they don’t put drain plugs on the rear like they do on the front. Of course in the front, I’ve seen people drain the oil out the drain plug only to find that the fill plug is seized up and won’t come out. Then there left with an empty differential and no way to easily refill it.
Just rotate the truck upside down.

Damn-I knew there was a simple solution!

Talked to one guy and he bought some rubber stoppers and drilled a hole through one then inserted a tube into the hole and pumped the necessary amount into the differential, plus a little more then he pulled the stopper, plug hole with his thumb then quickly pulled his thumb and installed the plug. Very little fluid actually came out, surprisingly. Got him going until he had more time to get the fill plug out.

You're supposed to just crack the bottom open a bit , until it drains....
ya I had a brain fart, now of all the stupid little things I do not have is a 1/2" allen wrench, everything I have is metric or to small, off to the store again.

***so the fill plug is not 1/2", lol I don't know what it is at this point but I got it off

and can't tell yet what capacity is supposed to be paperwork say's most take 2qt, internet says anywhere from 2.2 to 2.41, this adds more room, so going to try and eyeball it, the fill hole is deep cant see in there, guess it's getting filled till it comes out the hole

The instructions for your TA Performance girdle say to fill until fluid comes out of the factory fill plug on the side of the housing, not the fill plug on the cover. Don’t overfill it.
